John Flowers - Founder
John Flowers knows what West Virginia can do to a person. As a former WVU standout and member of the historic 2010 Mountaineer squad that reached the Final Four, he experienced firsthand how sports can electrify a state and bond a community for life.
When his playing career ended, he turned that experience into a mission. He founded Best Virginia to use the power of sports to showcase the beauty, strength, and untapped potential of a state the world too often overlooks. Best Virginia showcases the Best of West Virginia.
Because he had seen what a locker room can build, what a packed arena can unite, and what one unforgettable run can make an entire state believe.
