Alex Ruoff

Ruoff played for West Virginia from 2005-09 under head coaches John Beilein and Bob Huggins. The Spring Hill, Florida native was a part of 2-Sweet 16 teams and the NIT Championship in 2007. The 261 threes by Ruoff during his four seasons at West Virginia is still the program record. Ruoff shot 37% from three during his career at West Virginia.

 

After concluding his time at WVU, Ruoff went on to become a international veteran player in the 2010s. The 6-foot-6 guard has played in Belgium, Germany, Spain, Finland and Japan. From 2012-13, Ruoff played in the United States in the NBA Developmental League for the Canton Charge and the Iowa Energy. Ruoff is currently playing for Brose Bamberg in Germany
