Nathan Adrian
Adrian is a hometown kid, growing up in Morgantown, West Virginia. Adrian attended Morgantown High School before committing and staying home to play for WVU.
During his time at West Virginia from 2013-17, Adrian was able to help lead the Mountaineers to 2-Sweet 16 appearances in 2015 and 2017. The 6-foot-9 forward earned recognition for the All-Big 12 team in 2017, as well on the Big 12 All-Defensive team. Adrian took a leap in numbers in his senior season, as he played and started in 37 games for head coach Bob Huggins and the Mountaineers. Adrian was third on the team in scoring, averaging 9.6 points.
Adrian finished his time at West Virginia fifth in career games played with 140, right behind Da’Sean Butler (146), Joe Mazzulla (145), Jevon Carter (144) and Darris Nichols (141). As a student at WVU, Adrian appeared on the Big 12 All-Academic First Team in 2015 and 2017, with recognition on the second team in 2016.
Since graduating from West Virginia, Adrian has played overseas in France and now, currently, in Ukraine. Adrian is playing Mykolaiv in the Ukraine Superleague, where the West Virginia native is averaging 18.7 points and 6.6 rebounds.
